Lutron Showroom
Role: Programmer
Location: New York, New York
Architect: Smith miller
Design: Lutron
Photographer: Sarah Prange

The Lutron Showroom in New York city was created to display the range of Lutron's control products in a realistic setting. Traxon & e:cue provided 2 media walls consisting of 800 of Traxon's 64 pixel boards behind a diffused acrylic panel both to provide media content and simulate an outdoor environment to hilight Lutron's automatic shading system.

The installation was several firsts for Traxon and e:cue. It marked the first US installation of 64 pixel boars and the first installation worldwide of both the e:cue Video Micro Converter and emotion (Video Application Suite) software.

The programming provided allows users to select and manipulate video from both a custom Action Pad interface on the e:cue server and from the three glass touches provided.
